Title: Ammar Nakshawani misquotes Hadith Thaqalayn in Sahih Muslim - Farid Responds
Post by: MuslimK on March 04, 2018, 03:44:10 AM

Ammar Nakshawani quotes a version of hadith Al Thaqalayn (http://ghadirkhumm.com/thaqalayn-critical-study/), then falsely attributes it to Saheeh Muslim. Farid reacts.

Nakshawani is very easy target, it you watch his lectures closely. In fact, if you gather a history of his lectures you will find so many contradictions. However, what you just caught again is something I would have never caught. Good job.

The 12ers will probably say the duty is make Ali the Calipah as per instructions of Ghadir. However, the first 3 Imams themselves never took bayah on the basis on divine appointment. Even for the Mahdi this is no such case, with the exception of fabricated hadith which in reality have no basis with reality.

...and my comment received a heart by Sunni Defense, lol.

"Even if we assume that we are to hold on to the Qur'an and Ahlul Bayt (ra) - and we (Sunnis) hold on to Ahlul Bayt (ra) in an honest way the Shias can only dream of - let us allow the Qur'an to identify Ahlul Bayt (ra) for us (before we get to the Sunnah) as per the narration itself (because it commands us to first hold on to the Qur'an).

The word 'Ahlul Bayt' occurs three times in the Qur'an - well twice as 'ahlul bayt' and once as 'ahl' - and in each case, it is in reference to a wife or wives of a prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon them).  And those three prophets (asws), whose wives have been referred to as their 'ahlul bayt', (in no particular order) are Ibrahim (asws), Musa (asws) and the Holy Prophet (saw).  Now, Shias, my brothers who hold on to Ahlul Bayt (ra), why do you reject narrations from Aisha (ra) when, according to the Qur'an, she's 'ahlul bayt'?"

Maybe we should have a thread where we list all his blunders. This will also help Farid's BS series on youtube.
